Flint Ridge is a unique geological formation located in central Ohio. For over 12,000 years skilled craftsmen have been transforming the colorful flint quarried there into both tools and weapons, many of them truly works of art. This presentation examines the history of Flint Ridge, from its creation millions of years ago, to the Native American artisans who first utilized its beauty, to the flintknappers who continue to create fine art from it today.
