"Early Germanic" Flintlock

"Early Germanic" Flintlock

Locks of this general style were imported from Germany and the Low countries during the 18th century. This lock is intended primarily for 1760-1775 era American longrifles and fowlers, or jaeger style rifles. This is a high quality lock with a fly in the tumbler. With its powerful mainspring, it throws a good shower of sparks for a fast ignition. This lock can be easily refiled to even more closely approximate originals. Right hand only.

Dimensions: 5 9/16" x 1 1/8".
