Davis "Siler" Locks
Assembled by R.E. Davis Company from Jim Chamber's Siler components, these 1775-1800 era locks are "Germanic" in style, though more similar to some American made 18th Century locks. They are appropriate for any style or region of longrifle, fowler, or pistol. Because this lock is so well known and liked for its reliability, it is often reworked by filing to more closely resemble other locks of the period. Available in right and left hand, and in large and small sizes.
